When opening in the beginning of 2020, SNØ will become the world's largest ski hall. It will have around a kilometer of cross-country trails, three alpine slopes and trails for both snowboarding, freeski and alpine skiing
SNØ is aiming for just over 400,000 visitors and a turnover of just over NOK 100 million in the first year of operation.
Size: The snowcovered area is 36,000 square meters and the warmer part of SNØ with equipment rentals, sport shops, fitness center, restaurants and other services; 12.500m2.
Bjørvika Utvikling AS
Bjørvika is one of Norway's largest ever urban development projects. Bjørvika covers an area totalling 650,000 square metres, 40% of which is allocated to poverty development, 40% to parks, commons and a waterfront promenade that open this part of the city to the fjord, and the remaining 20% to the road network.
56% of the 820,000 m2 allocated to residental and commercial property will be completed by the end of 2019.
When Bjørvika is fully developed, the new neighbourhood will comprise approximately 5,000 housing units and provide workplaces for 20,000.
More than 12,000 people are already working there. 1,500 housing units were completed by the end of 2018, and 730 are currently under construction.
